Our teachers use a custom designed curriculum that meets the Louisiana Developmental Standard's for preschoolers.
-
We begin the curriculum in the One Year Old classroom and the lessons are expanded each year they attend our preschool
-
The curiculum has monthly themes which keeps the children interested in learning about new topics
-
The monthly themes will have special books to read, songs to sing, activities to do, and topics for circle time

Our Program
Our Toddlers enjoy playing in the sensory bin with red beans and rice for our Louisiana theme
Dinosaurs are interesting topics for young children but we can't bring them into class....or can we? Thawing dinosaurs are always fun to inspect with friends.
Our one year olds use different materials and textures to paint. Pictured: Cotton balls to create snowflake art
Children are allowed to use different materials to create their own artwork. Pictured: One Year olds making fall wreaths with their leaves
Shaving cream with green and blue paint mixed together to create their own beautiful earth.
Our camping theme is always a blast over the summer! What could be more fun than painting "campfires" with marshmallows???
Children use spray bottles filled with colored water to spray their umbrella art with "rain drops"
The best way for children to learn is through hands-on opportunities. When a dragon fly appeared on the playground, the children get to inspect it up close.
During our Spring theme, the children will grow bean sprouts and monitor their progress each day

Our classrooms are set up with centers/interest areas and we use center management tools to ensure that not all the children end up in one center at a time. We encourage them to play in all centers but they may be more inclined to go play in their favorite center. To learn the importance of each these centers, click here. The centers you will see in our classrooms are:
